WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Tip Top core value of Relationships details how we connect to our Tip Top team members. We see the inner core values of humility, respect and service as vital components of a healthy working relationship.
Humility
Humble people don’t see themselves as better than anyone else. They are free from pride and arrogance. Their focus is not on themselves but on the needs of others. From the scripture we see that Jesus humbled himself and became human in order to meet the needs of the people on earth. This is the type of humility we attempt to emulate at Tip Top. It is the operating system for all we do and the foundation on which we build every relationship. We do unto others as they would have us do unto them. This is how we honor God.
RESPECT
Respectful people have esteem and regard for others and recognize the worth of a person. These individuals judge themselves first and accept others for who they are. They play no favorites. We recognize that Tip Top is a blend of people from all walks of life; that we are all on our own journey, yet we are all together. It is our purpose to honor our differences and learn from each other, judge ourselves instead of each other, and connect in our commonalities. This is how we honor God.
SERVICE
A servant is one who uses empathy to understand the needs of another and acts in compassion to meet that need. People who serve are interested in the welfare of others first and not themselves. Martin Luther King, Jr. said “everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” We lead by serving. This is how we honor God.
